The Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney

Hello Everyone!

The Royal Botanic Gardens is the perfect little escape away from the city for a few hours even though it is situated close to the CBD area. You will notice some buildings and skyscrapers around in the background but good thing it is full of ponds, plants and flowers to give that feeling of being amongst the enchantment, particularly in the Calyx area where the installation of walls are full of plants and flowers. Stunning! I don’t know all the plants name taken in the images below, so if you do, please do tell us! 😉

It’s a great place for a picnic, to read a book, chill out with that special someone and friends or hey even just spend some me time. Here are some images I snapped, hope you enjoy these images and have a lovely week! 🙂

Don’t forget to look up, you might almost get pooped on by a beautiful bird 😉 Mr B. in the photo.

Photo credit below by Mr B.Those colours.. Lets just take a moment..My dream would be to have this plant of walls at home..  And no exploring is without a pitstop after for some breakfast and coffee. Oh yessssss!!! I’m really excited inside to eat this Skakshuka even if I don’t really look it, and the coffee was … spot on!

Hope everyone had a lovely week.

This weekend I played tourist strolling around Big Ben and the London Eye enjoying the crowd armed with a croissant and coffee on a nice sunny day. Thank you London for the blue sky.

Here are some images I snapped in order; the first two is the extravaganza Big Ben, the attention on wheels the London Eye, view from below of the London Eye, sitting on a bench by the water watching the blue sky, beautiful choices of flowers, took a walk in the evening and saw this silhouette of the tree and branches which caught my eye as I looked up and myself having a coffee sit down as I admire the pretty black and white table.

Thank you.

Flower Power on Columbia Road

image-12image-14 image-15 image-17 image-18 image-19 image-20 image-11Flower Power Sunday at Columbia Flower Market, a street market in East London. Up bright and early to try and beat the crowd. And of course, buy my own roses, ain’t no shame in that.

Columbia Flower Market has such a great buzzing vibe where sellers tell you to smell their flowers and buyers will walk up and down trying to find the best flowers and bargain, in this order. Such great deals where you can purchase 3 to 4 bunches for 10 quid.

Here are some images I snapped of what you can expect to see and smell and it wouldn’t be an East London market without some element of cool looking graffiti.
